I was introduced to the field of Horticultural Therapy from my dear friend Marlene Javage. She had been a business associate who I collaborated with as we managed our individual plant companies in Orange County. We often gave garden presentations together over the years, and have even written a book together. Our friendship has deepened over the years and when Marlene starting getting actively involved in this field, it was a given that her enthusiasm would draw me in. Knowing what an impact Horticulture had played in giving me glimmers of hope during my teen years, I was anxious to learn more about how I could incorporate this modality into my Interior Landscaping business. My first project was Olive Crest, and it was only the beginning of many project left to come.
